dc.description.abstract [eng] This paper analyses and contextualises the notes, marks and cross-references that Rafel Ginard left handwritten in a copy of his book El cançoner popular de Mallorca. These intimate epitexts help us to understand the author's perception of his own work and, to a certain extent, emphasise some of the Mallorcan folklorist's main concerns: the proper use of language and stylistic purification, the appreciation of folklore as a cultural and social phenomenon and the scientific task of folklorists, the configuration of Mallorcan oral poetry and the desire to bear witness to his own past through personal memories.
