Acción Social y Mujeres Inmigrantes Latinoamericanas

Abstract

[spa] El Trabajo Final de Máster (TFM) que a continuación se presenta, pretende reflexionar sobre la realidad a la que están sometidas las mujeres inmigrantes latinoamericanas que llegan a España en busca de nuevas oportunidades, al mismo tiempo que planteamos una propuesta de intervención para favorecer su integración. Para ello el trabajo está dividido en dos partes. En primer lugar, una revisión bibliográfica que incluye aspectos como sobre el momento en que se vuelve frecuente la inmigración de mujeres en España, los trabajos a los que se suelen dedicar o se han dedicado desde su llegada, el motivo por el cual emigran así como la remuneración que obtienen por su trabajo, entre otros aspectos tales como su formación académica, el nivel de desempleo, la exclusión a la que están expuestas, el grado de conocimiento que tienen sobre las nuevas tecnologías, su nivel de autoestima y si existe una inclusión real o no. En la segunda parte, expondremos un proyecto de intervención que se llevará a cabo con la intención de ver y favorecer el desarrollo, la autonomía y la integración social de dichas mujeres una sesión con una temática diferente para ellas, evaluando el proceso en todo momento, mediante una entrevista a un determinado número de mujeres Latinoamericanas, desde la entrevista inicial hasta llegar a responder un cuestionario final para comprobar si se cumplieron los objetivos propuestos.

[eng] The present Master’s dissertation deals with the reality of South American immigrant women in Spain as they try to get new opportunities. It proposes to reflect on it while also providing a possible intervention in order to favors these women’s integration. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first one includes an encyclopedic review on different aspects such as the following ones: when women immigration to Spain becomes more frequent, what jobs are the most common among them once they arrive in Spain, the reasons why they decide to emigrate as well as the wages they are paid. Apart from that there is also information about their academic qualifications, their level of unemployment, the exclusion they have to face, their degree of expertise on new technologies, their level of self-confidence and whether there is a real social inclusion affecting them. As far as the second part is concerned, it deals with a layout of a project of intervention whose ultimate aim is to show and favors the development, autonomy and social interaction of those women. The whole process will be under evaluation at all times via interviews to a certain number of South American women. Departing from an initial interview, the final step of the project will be a final questionnaire to check out that the proposed goals were successfully achieved.
