Problemes internalitzants i de regulació emocional en infants amb i sense dislèxia

[cat] La dislèxia, segons l’Associació Internacional de Dislèxia (2002), és un trastorn específic de l’aprenentatge d’origen neurobiològic caracteritzat per dificultats amb el reconeixement de paraules de forma precisa i/o fluida i per pobres habilitats d'ortografia i de descodificació. L’objectiu del present treball era comparar els problemes emocionals i de regulació emocional entre infants amb dislèxia i sense. Per tant, es volia conèixer si els infants amb dislèxia mostraven més problemes internalitzants i de regulació emocional respecte als infants sense dislèxia. En l’estudi van participar un total de 28 infants d’entre 8 i 12 anys amb diagnòstic de dislèxia (n = 17) i sense diagnòstic (n = 11). Es van demanar les dades sociodemogràfiques dels progenitors i dels infants i es va recollir informació dels infants a través dels qüestionaris Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL 6/18; Achenbach i Rescorla, 2001), Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire Infantil (CERQ-K, Orgilés, Morales, Fernández-Martínez i Espada, 2018) i l’Emotion Regulation Checklist (ERC, Shields i Cicchetti, 1997). Els resultats de l’anàlisi de dades de les respostes als qüestionaris no van mostrar diferències estadísticament significatives entre els dos grups. Com a conclusió, no es va poder afirmar que els infants amb dislèxia mostren més problemes internalitzants i de regulació emocional que els infants sense dislèxia.

[eng] Dyslexia, according to the International Dyslexia Association (2002), is a specific learning disorder of neurobiological origin characterized by difficulties with accurate and/or fluent word recognition and by poor spelling and decoding. The aim of the present work was to compare emotional problems and emotional regulation between children with and without dyslexia. Therefore, we wanted to know if children with dyslexia showed more internalizing and emotional regulation problems compared to children without dyslexia. A total of 28 children between 8 and 12 years with a diagnosis of dyslexia (n = 17) and without a diagnosis (n = 11) participated in the study. The sociodemographic data of the parents and the children were requested and information was collected from the children through the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL 6/18; Achenbach and Rescorla, 2001), Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire Infantil (CERQ-K, Orgilés, Morales, Fernández-Martínez i Espada, 2018) and the Emotion Regulation Checklist (ERC, Shields and Cicchetti, 1997). The results of the data analysis of the responses to the questionnaires did not show any statistically significant differences between the two groups. As a conclusion, it could not be stated that children with dyslexia show more internalizing and emotional regulation problems than children without dyslexia.
