Programa de gestió emocional per terapeutes de Projecte Home

[spa] Les addiccions conformen un àmbit molt controvertit, ja sigui per part de l’usuari que les pateix com pels professionals, entre ells els/les terapeutes, que desenvolupen un tractament per a combatre amb les addiccions. En el nostre país, l’associació Projecte Home és un referent pioner en aquest àmbit, ja que des dels anys 80, s’ha anat constituint com una entitat especialitzada en la prevenció, tractament i la reinserció socio-laboral dels individus que presenten problemes amb el consum de tòxics. En aquest sentit, ens centrarem en la seva labor en el nostre territori i la fundació Projecte Home Balears, més concretament la tasca dels/les terapeutes amb els joves d’entre 14 i 21 anys. La intel·ligència emocional és fonamental a l’hora de dur a terme la labor com a terapeuta amb joves que poden presentar problemes d’addiccions, ja que les relacions entre pacient i terapeuta són intenses i rellevants i poden, fins i tot, desembocar en problemes de gestió emocional per part dels professionals implicats, com és el cas del burnout o l’estrès traumàtic secundari. Així doncs, en aquest treball es presenta un programa de gestió emocional dirigit a terapeutes que treballen a la fundació Projecte Home Balears i que han de desenvolupar la seva labor diària amb joves que drogodependents. L’objectiu del programa és prevenir el burnout i l’estrès traumàtic secundari en els professionals de l’entitat i atorgar-los estratègies perquè siguin capaços de gestionar els seus sentiments i les emocions que els provoquen determinades situacions laborals.

[eng] Additions are a highly controversial area, whether it be for the user who suffers them or for professionals, including therapists, who develop treatment for addiction. In our country, the Project Home partnership is a pioneering benchmark in this area, since the 1980s, it has been established as a specialized entity in the prevention, treatment and socio-labour reintegration of individuals with problems with toxic consumption. In this respect, we will focus on your work in our territory and the Project Home Balearic, more specifically the task of the therapists with young people between 14 and 21 years old. Emotional intelligence is essential in carrying out work as a therapist with young people who may present addiction problems, as patient-therapist relationships are intense and relevant and may even lead to emotional management problems by the professionals involved, such as burnout or secondary traumatic stress. Thus, an emotional management program is presented in this work aimed at therapists who work at the Project Home Balearic, and who must do their daily work with young people who are addicted. The aim of the program is to prevent burnout and secondary traumatic stress in the professionals of the entity and to give them strategies to be able to manage their feelings and emotions that cause certain working situations.
