Turisme i gestió de residus

Abstract

[cat] La creació i destrucció massiva de residus és un problema greu i que cada cop va augmentant, al que s’ha de trobar una solució ràpida i eficaç. El turisme, a més, contribueix a que aquesta producció de residus es multipliqui a causa de la seva naturalesa temporal, és a dir, els visitants viatgen amb la menor quantitat d’equipatge possible i compren al lloc destí els utensilis que necessiten, normalment d’un sol ús, a més de preocupar-se menys pel medi ambient al estar de vacances. Espanya, es un país molt turístic amb molta producció de residus en el que s’han començat a implementar mesures per frenar-ho. Actualment, es cerquen solucions per tallar el problema d’arrel com produir una menor quantitat de deixalles o implementar una economia circular a tots els processos productius. En el següent treball s’exposarà mitjançant dates de l’INE la quantitat de residus que crea el turisme dins Espanya, l’evolució d’aquests i com son gestionats. Fent una menció especial al problema de la insularitat que sofreixen les illes de la regió.

[eng] The massive creation and destruction of waste is a serious and growing problem that needs to be solved quickly and effectively. Tourism, in addition, contributes to this waste production to multiply because of its temporary nature, for example, tourists visit other places with the least possible luggage and buy locally single use utensils, moreover when they are not in their houses have less concern about environment. Spain is a very touristy country with a lot of waste production, due to that, measures have begun to be implemented to curb it. Currently, there are solutions to solve the root of the problem such as producing less waste or implementing a circular economy in all production processes. The following thesis will show via INE data the amount of waste created by tourism in Spain, its evolution and how it is managed. Making special mention of the problem of insularity suffered by the islands of the region.
