Observacions preliminars i morfometria de marques d'incisió antròpica a les façanes històriques de Ciutat Vella (Barcelona, Catalunya)

[eng] Preliminary observations and morphometry of anthropic incision marks on the historic facades of Ciutat Vella (Barcelona, Catalonia) Some of the historic buildings in the Old Town of Barcelona, Catalonia, show fusiform erosive morphologies in the limestone blocks of their facades. 324 erosive forms have been morphometrically characterized along 10 different facades on rock blocks cut in Montjuïc stone. Additionally, the most representative forms from each location have been characterized in detail using a microtopographic profiler. The results indicate that the forms of erosion, their geometry and arrangement, are an artificial product of anthropic nature. These are not forms of erosion associated with chemical or physical alteration processes of natural origin. Based on a bibliographic review of similar morphologies in other Mediterranean and Central European contexts, it is proposed that these forms of incision correspond to cutting or sharpening marks of metal tools.
