Tercer Sector y salud mental: un instrumento de apoyo a las familias

Abstract

[esp] La investigación llevada a cabo mediante el análisis de documentos, fuentes secundarias y la realización de tres entrevistas semiestructuradas, procura ofrecer al lector inf ormación sobre una cuestión poco planteada en nuestra sociedad: la importancia del Tercer Sector en materia de salud mental. Así pues, y más concretamente, el presente trabajo pretende dar a conocer la importancia de la intervención social con personas que padecen trastorno mental grave, dejando en un segundo plano la intervención clínica. Además, se hace referencia a la red de entidades del Tercer Sector en materia de salud mental en Baleares. También se analiza la situación actual del Tercer Sector, así c omo el papel que juega en la configuración de la Sociedad de Bienestar.

[eng] The research accomplished through an analysis of documents, secondary sources and three semie structured interviews, aims to provide the reader with on an issue that has not been considered in our society: the importance of the third sector on mental health. So, specifically, this study hopes to highlight the importance of social work with people who is suffering from several mental disorder, leaving in the background the clinical intervention. Also, the st udy refer to the network of Third Sector organizations in mental health area in Balearic Islands. The current situation in the Third Sector is also discussed, and the role it plays in the Welfare Society.
