Viabilitat del turisme creatiu a Menorca

Abstract

[cat] Creative tourism is a model of sustainable tourism with the potential to adapt to the strategic objectives of Menorca's tourist development. This paper investigates those characteristics rendering the island a destination able to offer activities in which visitors can develop their creativity as a part of the tourist experience. By using qualitative and quantitative methods, it also identifies an emergent tourism offer aimed at meeting the demand for activities centred on health, personal growth, plastic arts and family and couple relationships. It finally offers advice to practitioners and public administrations.
