dc.description.abstract	[esp] Abordaremos en estas páginas el estudio de la modernidad en la poesía hispánica de vanguardia, a partir de un corpus amplio de poetas deudores de las vanguardias francesas y aglutinados en su mayoría en torno a <em>V-ltra, Revista internacional de vanguardia</em>. Realizaremos una aproximación a su obra a partir de tres motivos ligados al tema del tren: la mujer porvenirista (que no deja de ser una proyección de la mirada masculina), la devoción mariana (encarnado por la imaginería cristiana) y las rectas paralelas (que marcan un camino a la vez horizontal y vertical, terrestre y aéreo). Todo ello da entrada a una nueva feminidad, a una nueva religión y a unos nuevos valores. Una lectura atenta permitirá sin embargo refutar el concepto, tan celebrado por los vanguardistas, de la libertad del individuo, pues la capacidad de éste para elegir queda fuera del imaginario poético.
