dc.description.abstract [eng] Cinematographic tourism may sound unknown to nearly everyone but has been gaining importance since its emergence in the 90s. Nowadays its relevance has been increasing through audiovisual media and streaming platforms. In the following thesis, attention will be focused on the ‘Mallorca Files’ (2019) series which has been solely filmed on the abovementioned island, in order to prove how this specific tourism framework can either positively or negatively impact a destination. ca
