Escandol social a Roma : culte i prohibició de les bacanals durant la República Romana

[cat] La religió a Roma va ser un dels elements més importants de la societat. En aquest sentit, el culte a Bac i les bacanals van agafar una gran importància dins la societat romana d’època republicana. No obstant això, al 186 a.C. es va dur a terme la prohibició de la festivitat de les bacanals sota un rerefons polític i social. A través d'una revisió de les fonts epigràfiques i literàries, en el present treball analitzarem la influència de la religió en el marc político-social, en concret, el culte a Bac i les bacanals, i tots aquells motius que van portar a que el Senat prohibís la celebració d’aquest ritus. Així mateix, també considerarem els motius de la continuïtat de les bacanals llavors del vet interposat pel Senatus Consultum de Bacchanalibus

[eng] Religion in Rome was one of the most important elements of society. In this sense, the cult of Bacchus and the bacchanals took on great importance in Roman society. However, in 186 a.C. the prohibition of the festivity of bacchanals was carried out under a political and social background. Through a review of epigraphic and literary sources, in the present work we will analyze the influence of religion during the Roman Republic, specifically, the cult of Bacchus and the bacchanals, and all those reasons that led to the Senate forbid the celebration of bacchanals. Likewise, we will also consider the reasons for the continuity of bacchanals after the veto imposed by the Senatus Consultum de Bacchanalibus
