La construcció d’un arpeggione

Abstract

[cat] L’objectiu principal del present TFT consisteix a dur a terme la construcció d’un arpeggione, instrument que també va rebre el nom de guitarra d’arc i que va veure la llum al primer quart del segle XIX. Per això, prèviament s’ha duit a terme una recerca de literatura especialitzada per a conèixer amb profunditat aquest instrument i les seves derivades, així com una anàlisi de totes les imatges a les quals s’ha tengut accés per a poder determinar totes les dades imprescindibles i poder-les traslladar a la construcció real. Però la part central d’aquest projecte ha estat la de treballar al taller diàriament, partint del disseny de la construcció, accedir al material i les eines necessàries per abordar el repte. També ha estat necessari fer front a la solució de diferents problemes accedint a àrees de coneixement com l’arquitectura per elaborar els diferents plànols de l'instrument, així com superar cada dia les dificultats que se n'han anat presentant fins a arribar a tenir l’instrument acabat i en condicions perquè pugui fer música.

[eng] The main objective of this TFT (Final Degree Project) is to carry out the construction of an Arpeggione, an instrument that was also known as the arco guitar and emerged in the first quarter of the 19th century. To achieve this, a thorough search of specialized literature has been conducted to gain an in-depth understanding of this instrument and its derivatives, as well as an analysis of all the images accessible to determine all the essential data necessary for the actual construction. However, the central part of this project has involved working in the workshop daily, starting from the design of the construction, accessing the materials and tools required to tackle the challenge.
