Hoteles de Palma con valor patrimonial el caso del Icon Rosetó

[spa] La finalidad principal de este trabajo es dar a conocer el patrimonio cultural que tenemos en Mallorca y los impactos que genera la presencia de los hoteles boutique, dentro de la economía y sociedad de la isla. De esta forma, se pretende explicar el concepto de hotel boutique y sus repercusiones, como el proceso de gentrificación, presente en algunos barrios de Palma. En este contexto, se ha realizado un estudio sobre un hotel boutique en particular, el Icon Rosetó. En él, se explica su historia y su actual explotación. El estudio de dicho inmueble ha permitido analizar y conocer, de primera mano, las consecuencias que conlleva la explotación de estos negocios, tanto a nivel social (investigando los cambios en el barrio) como económico, a partir de una serie de entrevistas realizadas al personal del hotel.

[eng] The main purpose of this project is to show the cultural heritage we have in Mallorca and the impacts generated by the presence of boutique hotels, within the economy and the society of the island. In this way, the aim is to explain the concept of a boutique hotel and its repercussions, such as the gentrification process, present in some neighbourhoods of Palma. In this context, a study has been carried out on a particular boutique hotel, the Icon Rosetó. It explains its history and current exploitation. The study of this property has allowed us to analyse and learn first-hand the consequences of the exploitation of these businesses, both at a social level (investigating the changes in the neighbourhood) and at an economic level, through a series of interviews carried out with the staff of the hotel.
