Repensando moral y política: una reflexión a través de Albert Camus, Judith Shklar y George Lakoff

[spa] El presente texto tiene como objetivo central repensar la relación entre la moral y la política. Debido a la denominada moralización de la política en la que nos encontramos, urge la necesidad de analizar el significado de tal moralización y sus diversas implicaciones, así como en volver a evaluar las tensiones existentes entre la moralidad y la política. Para cometer tal propósito vamos a profundizar en el pensamiento de Albert Camus, Judith Shklar y George Lakoff; autores que ciertamente provienen de diferentes corrientes y enfoques, pero que responden a una misma inquietud por la crisis moral y política. Así, nuestro cometido no es proponer una solución inequívoca a dicha problemática, sino presentar aquellos conceptos y matices que podrán ayudarnos a reflexionar sobre nuestro devenir común.

[eng] The central objective of this text is to rethink the relationship between morality and politics. Because of the so-called moralization of politics in which we find ourselves, there is an urgent need to analyse the meaning of such moralization and its various implications, as well as to re-evaluate the existing tensions between morality and politics. To achieve this purpose we are going to delve into the thinking of Albert Camus, Judith Shklar and George Lakoff; authors who certainly come from different currents and approaches, but who respond to the same concern about the moral and political crisis. Thus, our task is not to propose an unequivocal solution to this problem, but to present those concepts and nuances that can help us reflect on our common future.
