Portant la cultura a la classe de llengua estrangera del segle XXI

Abstract

[eng] In the frame of a complex society and in continuous transformation, the education of a foreign language like English has to go further of the purely linguistic teaching. That's why the method called the 3Ps can offer us a new way to teach a foreign language including all the aspects that surround it, such as the lexicon, the grammatical rules, the social behaviors or the pertaining elements of the culture to which a language is linked. This didactic approach also fosters the intercultural communication and the autonomous work because the students are the ones who will have the need to do research and, in this way, promote their level of implication in the task of teaching-learning.

[cat] En el marc d'una societat complexa i en contínua transformació, l'ensenyament d'una llengua estrangera com és l'anglès ha d‟anar més enllà de les ensenyances purament lingüístiques. És per això que el mètode anomenat les 3Ps ens pot oferir una nova manera d'ensenyar una llengua estrangera incloent-hi tots els aspectes que l'envolten, sigui el lèxic, les normes gramaticals, les conductes socials o els elements integradors de la cultura a la qual una llengua està vinculada. Aquest enfocament didàctic també fomenta la comunicació intercultural i el treball autònom perquè és l'alumnat qui tindrà la necessitat de fer recerca i, d'aquesta manera, fomentar la implicació de l'alumnat dins la tasca d'ensenyament- aprenentatge.
