Aplicació didàctica de l’estudi del sistema nerviós a l’ensenyament secundari

Abstract

Situar com a part activa el procés d’ensenyança als alumnes, junt amb la motivació, són dos dels factors claus per l’adquisició d’aprenentatge de coneixements. Per això, aquest treball es centra en el canvi de la perspectiva educativa cap a models més constructivistes. Particularment, vol focalitzar la seva atenció a l’ensenyança del sistema nerviós en context a alumnes de secundària. En primer lloc, es realitza una crítica del model tradicional, on la transmissió de coneixements situa a l’alumne com a part passiva d’aquest procés, per tant, prioritza l’aprenentatge memorístic. La proposta d’aquest treball, i la de l’actualitat docent, és la de introduir models com el constructivisme, on es pretén intercanviar els rols, on l’alumne participi de forma activa en el seu procés d’aprenentatge. En segon lloc, continuant amb aquest darrer model, he considerat utilitzar la biologia en context que intenta ensenyar un aspecte tan important, com és el Sistema Nerviós (SN), mitjançant la contextualització en situacions properes i motivadores als alumnes. Partint d’una situació real i significativa, es realitzarà un diàleg entre el docent i l’alumne, per esbrinar els seus coneixements previs i, partint d’aquesta base, poder construir els seus propis coneixements. Una vegada realitzada la detecció de coneixements previs, els alumnes elaboraran una Web Quest. El docent facilitarà una sèrie de webs, on els alumnes cercaran la informació per elaborar el seu treball sobre el SN. D’aquesta manera, a partir d’una situació real, arribaran a construir el tema del SN d’una manera motivadora, partint dels seus coneixements, desenvolupant-los mitjançant una Web Quest, elaborant mapes conceptuals per relacionar els continguts i, finalment, ser avaluats. Per tant, tot aquest treball estarà fonamentat per la biologia en context i per models constructivistes centrat en el SN, per aconseguir que els alumnes construeixin els seus propis coneixements a partir del que ja saben, seguint les pautes del docent i utilitzant la web de forma correcta com a recurs.

Placing an active teaching process, along with student’s motivation, are two key factors for the acquisition of learning skills. Therefore, this paper focuses on changing the educational perspective towards constructivist models. In particular, it wants to focus its attention on the teaching of the nervous system in secondary school context. First, we make a criticism of the traditional model, where the student plays a passive role in the knowledge transfer process, therefore, priorities memory learning. The proposal of this work and present teaching is to introduce models such as constructivism, which aims to exchange roles, where students are actively involved in their learning process. Secondly, continuing with the latter model, I considered using a biological context in trying to teach an important aspect, the Nervous System (NS), by the contextualization of close and motivating situations for the students. Based on a real and meaningful situation, there will be a dialogue between the teacher and the student to determine their knowledge, and on this basis, to build their own knowledge. Once the detection of knowledge, students will develop a Web Quest. The teacher will provide a number of websites where students will search information to prepare its work on the NS. Thus, based on real situation, they will build up the theme of NS in a motivating way, based on their knowledge, developing then through a Web Quest, making concept taps to relate the contents and, finally, be evaluated. Therefore, all this work will be based in biology in context and constructivist models focused on NS, to get the students to construct their own knowledge based on what they know, following the guidelines of teaching and using the web properly as a resource.
