dc.description.abstract [eng] This paper contains an analysis of the commercial sector and the time frame regulations in the Balearic Islands. This subject has been argued for a long time in Spain and in the Islands specifically, which is why it is so interesting to study. Firstly, the paper looks at the most important source of income in the Balearic Islands; tourism, which the economy relies upon heavily. Secondly, it will analyse how the Law and the tourist industry affects the job market; along with the main features of commercial distribution in Spain and in the Balearic Islands, focusing in depth on the retail industry. ca
