lineal. |

[eng]The aim of our study is to compare the EEG record in Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder
(ADHD) versus a control group using technical non-linear analysis. The hypothesis, according to
the dynamic systems theory, is that non eficient systems have less complexity than eficient
systems. Although the origin of ADHD is still unclear, we accept that their processing of
information is less efficient. Nine children with ADHD and nine controls have been evaluated
with EEG technique in rest condition. Their ratio theta/beta, multiscale entropy and sample
entropy, fractal dimention have been compared in Fz and Cz electrodes. Results have shown that
the ADHD group has less MSE, sample entropy and fractal dimension in comparison with the
control group in both electrodes, being Fz more significative tan Cz. As a result, our hypthesis
are confirmed in both electrodes. The data are favourable to increase the investigation on brain
function in children with ADHD with non linear technique |
