El Crowdfunding Solidario

Abstract

[spa] El Crowdfunding Solidario es un método de financiación, que si bien no es nuevo en la economía, ha cobrado mayor trascendencia a raíz de la crisis económica mundial de 2007, no solo por el bloqueo de las líneas convencionales de financiación, sino también gracias a la gran evolución de las tecnologías de la información. A lo largo de este trabajo, se explicará qué es, quiénes se benefician, dónde y cómo se regula, y qué aplicaciones se hace. El objetivo es enmarcar el tema y relacionarlo con diferentes aspectos vistos a lo largo de la carrera, y sobre todo, explicar la evolución, uso y relevancia que está teniendo en el marco económico actual. Para ello, la investigación teórica se verá completada por ejemplos prácticos de aplicación reciente, teniendo en cuenta que el Crowdfunding Solidario se hace servir como método de financiación principalmente por ONGs y entidades con proyectos de mejora para el bien común, aunque su uso no está limitado a las mismas.

[eng] Civic Crowdfunding is a financial method mainly used by the third and fourth sector organizations. This financing model is focused on social projects, for which finding economic resources could be more difficult than in lucrative oriented projects. The principal aim of this case study is to analyse their impact in modern societies, being the new technologies which have served as an alternative against the crisis. For this reason, non-profit organizations have had to reinvent themselves in order to achieve new funding sources via Internet. In this BBA dissertation, we will be able to infer how these different platforms operate and their impact, especially in Spain, and their impact. Research study mostly will focus on current affairs, but also in contextualising other relevant historical references around the world. Finally, a present-day local case study will be pivotal to comprehend civic crowdfunding, and their role in terms of social solidarity, not only a matter of NGOs these days. As citizens, it has never been so accessible and easy forward, due to Internet.
