Abstract

[spa] Iberia es una empresa aérea española que nació con el objetivo de competir con las diferentes compañías españolas con el objetivos de hacerse el control del mercado español, durante todos estos años, se ha ido transformando hasta lo que es hoy en día, una empresa que esta compitiendo con las grandes compañías aéreas mundiales en busca del control del mercado. Durante todos estos años ha tenido en su flota más de 100 diferentes modelos aviones y actualmente posee una flota de 169 aviones (mayoritariamente Airbus A320 y Airbus 340), realiza unos 1.000 vuelos diarios y vuela hasta un total de 76 destinos diferentes a través de sus vuelos directos y a unos 220 destinos a través de sus alianzas o codigos compartidos. Actualmente es una empresa en la que está teniendo bastantes beneficios gracias al éxito de sus empresas filiales (Vueling e Iberia express) y a la fusión con British Airways. Además gracias a las investigaciones hechas, se puede decir que un avión gasta relativamente poco combustible, considerando una relación de litros de combustible por pasajeros transportados y otra investigación que refleja que los salarios de los trabajadores de Iberia son bastante buenos e incluso más si el trabajador es un piloto veterano en la empresa.

[eng] Iberia is an spanish airline company, this company was born focused on compete with others spanish airlines companies which were looking for achieve the control of the spanish market. During all of these years, the company has suffered a transformation until nowadays. Since the liberalization of the spanish army, Iberia is fighting against other big companies looking for the control of the worldwide market. During all of these years, Iberia have had a fleet of more than 100 different models of planes and nowadays Iberia own 169 planes (the mainly planes are AirbusA320 and Airbus 340). Iberia has more than 1.000 flights everyday and has more than 76 differents destinations through their direct flights and about 220 destionations through the diferent aliances or shared codes. Nowadays is a company which has quite benefits thanks to its succesful of its subsidiary companies (such as Vueling and Iberia express) and its fusion with British Airways. Moreover, thanks to the research done, it can say that a plane waste relatively low fuel, comparing de liters wasted with the passangers in the plane, and other investigation done, show that the wage of the Iberia employees, are really good, and even better if the employee is a plane driver
