Abstract

[cat] El present projecte té com a finalitat analitzar el procés històric de consolidació de la indústria sabatera d’Inca durant els anys de la segona meitat del segle XX període en el qual aquesta localitat fou el centre principal de producció de calçat. Es pretén investigar com ha anat progressant aquesta indústria i amb la informació de les contribucions industrials entendre com Inca esdevingué el centre de major producció d’aquesta manufactura. A més a més, es podrà realitzar un seguiment dels oficis i de la maquinària que es va anar incorporant per poder atendre la forta demanda i altre que va ser abandonada i substituïda per maquinària més moderna. També, hi ha dades numèriques de les matèries primeres que es necessiten per dur a terme aquesta producció, així com també, del nombre de persones assegurades i no assegurades, per tal de conèixer amb més profunditat aspectes importants d’aquest sector. Bona part del material que s’ha consultat, és inèdit. La seva recopilació i publicació ajudarà a aprofundir alguns aspectes importants d’un període clau de la manufactura illenca.
