sometidos a cirugía restrictiva (Gastrectomía tubular) y restrictiva malabsortiva
[eng] OBJECTIVE: To determine the variation of cardiovascular risk in patients
undergoing restrictive bariatric surgery (sleeve gastrectomy) and restrictive
malabsorptive (gastric bypass), that have changed eating habits before and
after surgery
DESIGN: Cohort study.
FIELD OF STUDY: Area 2 health of the Region of Murcia.
STUDY SUBJECT. People with obesity intervention scheduled for bariatric
surgery, between 18-65 years with the presence of cardiovascular risk factors
(hypertension, type 2 diabetes, dyslipidemia and syndrome Obstructive Sleep
Apnea).
INSTRUMENTATION: Subjects will be assigned to two cohorts (gastric bypass
and gastrectomy tubular) with a 1: 1 ratio. Data on cardiovascular risk factors,
anthropometric measurements, laboratory parameters, arterial pressure and
behavioral parameters will be collected at the time of the incorporation of the
subject to the cohort and year after the incorporation, except for the "bariatric
food pyramid", compliance conduct will be assessed only one year after the
intervention.
DETERMINATIONS: Central, tendency and dispersion statistics will be used for
a descriptive analysis of each cohort. To determine the mean difference in
anthropometric measures among cohorts Student's t-distribution will be carried
out. To assess the relationship between qualitative variables, contingency
tables and chi-square test, for a level of α = 0.05 significance will be used.
Degree of association between 2 types of surgery and cardiovascular risk, will
be estimated with Relative Risk. Possible losses of participants during the study
will be considered in statistical analysis. Statistical analyzes were performed
using SPSS v.21
