[eng] The purpose of this research is first to present the situation of gender inequality
in developed societies, and second to state the role education should have in the
reconfiguration of genders, in order to create a more gender neutral conscience
for secondary education students. Furthermore, a case study, in the form of a
questionnaire, taken by students coming from three different levels (third of ESO,
fourth of ESO and second of baccalaureate) of IES Calvià will be analysed so as
to ascertain to what extend teenagers show sexist tendencies and, finally,
didactic material for the English as a foreign language class will be enclosed so
as to introduce gender education inside the lessons.
