[cat] Els centres educatius són petites mostres de la societat a la qual pertanyen. Són espais on els alumnes duen a terme diversos aprenentatges acadèmics, però també duen a terme processos de socialització i comunicació. Aquests processos es recolzen principalment en l'ús del llenguatge, el qual és necessari per dur a terme els altres aprenentatges acadèmics que reben. Llavors, el llenguatge esdevé primordial en el seu desenvolupament com a educand i com a futur ciutadà. Les aules de les etapes més primerenques haurien de dur a terme una metodologia d'ensenyament on a totes les àrees i de manera transversal es treballés el currículum des d'un punt de vista més lingüístic. Per tant, les escoles no només han de preparar als alumnes des d'un punt de vista on només és important l'ús de dades o informacions, les escoles han d'educar estimulant les habilitats lingüístiques dels educands mitjançant activitats dissenyades de forma intencionada per a ells, han de potenciar la capacitat cognitiva dels educands a través de l'estructuració del pensament que permet el domini del llenguatge.
