L’educador social als centres de secundària: una proposta d’intervenció comunitària

[cat] El present treball es centra en la figura de l’educador/a social als centres educatius de secundària. La realitat educativa actual requereix professionals que puguin donar resposta a situacions complexes i per a les quals l’escola no està preparada: assetjament escolar, absentisme, infants nouvinguts… són realitats que s’estan donant i que desborden el sistema educatiu. La formació i preparació dels educadors/es socials permet donar una resposta adequada a aquesta complexitat així com afavorir la prevenció de les mateixes. En aquest sentit, el marc d’intervenció és ampli i aprofitar les sinèrgies i potencialitats que permet l’escola i la comunitat ha de formar part de la formació dels professionals. Per aquest motiu es fa una proposta d’intervenció comunitària a través d’un projecte d’aprenentatge servei dirigit a alumnat en situació de risc social, amb l’objectiu d’obrir-se a la comunitat i a la realitat del nostre context al mateix temps que s’aprèn a conèixer, ser, fer i conviure

[eng] This academic work is focused on the role of the social educators in secondary schools. The reality of current education requires professionals who can respond to complex situations for which the school is not prepared: bullying, school absenteeism, newcomers… are realities that are happening in schools and are overwhelming the school system. The training and preparation of social educators allows them to give an adequate response to these complexities as well as to promote their prevention. In this sense, the framework of intervention is broad and benefiting from the synergies and potentialities that the school and community can offer has to be part of the professionals' training. For this reason, we propose community intervention through a service learning project aimed at students in situations of social risk, with the aim of opening up to the community and the reality of our environment at the same time as they learn to understand, be, do and live together.
