Oratoria y mediación: herramientas para el educador social

Abstract

[spa] La oratoria es el arte de hablar bien en público, y un educador social siempre trabaja de cara al público, en distintas circunstancias, pero siempre se ve obligado a comunicar, y esa comunicación debe ser lo más correcta posible, para garantizar la eficacia de sus intervenciones. El educador social, en muchas ocasiones, se encuentra en situaciones de conflicto entre personas, y debe ser lo más resolutivo posible en esos casos, la figura del mediador ofrece a los profesionales la posibilidad de realizar intervenciones en situaciones de conflicto. Estas tres figuras: la del orador, la del educador social y la del mediador, son de las que se habla en este trabajo, ofreciendo una perspectiva distinta de estas disciplinas y concluyendo con que encajan a la perfección y pueden mejorar el desempeño profesional de quienes trabajan estas competencias.

[eng] The oratory is the art of speak well in public, and a social educator always must work in front of a public, in different circumstances, but is always obligated to communicate, and that communication must be the best possible, to guarantee the efficiency of his interventions. The social educator, in several occasions, finds himself in conflicts situations between people, and must be resolutive on that cases, the mediator figure offers to the professionals the possibility to realize interventions in conflict situations. These three figures: the orator, the social educator and the mediator, is the one that are talked about on this work, offering a different perspective of this disciplines and concluding that they fit perfectly, and they can improve the professional development of whom work these skills.
