Bandolers i Bandejats, ecos en els camins oblidats

Abstract

[cat] El present treball és una recerca del bandolers i bandejats a Mallorca a través de distintes èpoques i els camins que sovintejaren per la comarca del Raiguer. La Serra és un decorat impressionant a on passaren durant segles, episodis tenyits de misteri, drama i supervivència. Les muntanyes de Mallorca, cada racó, comellar, bosc, cova... han estat l’escenari d’aventures, infortunis, violència i esperança durant el pas del temps. La petjada del bandolerisme i els bandejats ha deixat una marca, desfigurada i oblidada, en la toponímia, llegendes i el folklore. També fou una manera de viure, una quotidianitat durant generacions o on es mesclaven política, venjança personal, injustícia i repressió estatal. Els bandolers han estat entelats baix el misteri en molts casos. En el present treball exposo una cronologia del fets i personatges més transcendental i que han estat estudi de diversos autors. Per altra part una recerca en la toponímia del meu poble Alaró en referència als bandolers i bandejats amb un protagonista en concret: Mateu Reus “Rotget”.

[eng] The present work it’s an historical about Majorca banditry along history walkin on the Raiguer lands. The Serra of Tramuntana and it’s impressive geological formation where, as background; bizarre episodes of injury, revenge, and criminal’s adventures had happened. Every mountain, every cave and forest had been a set where the bandits and workers had left a footprint that remains for generations against the time pass. The mark of the banditry and exiled now it`s in folklore, tales, legends, toponyms... But also were a way of life, a full day activity during generations where politicism, revenge, injustice and statal repression were mixed. The bandits figure had been mutated under the mistery and ostracism. In the present world I expose the most famous and important chronologic events happened that had been studied by historians. By the other hand I have been researching about toponyms on my natal town Alaró and about the figure of a famous Bandit from the place; Mateu Reus Rotget
