TDAH.
[eng] The aim of this study was to analyze differences between ADHD and Typical
Development (TD) in behavioral scales and neuropsychological measures. In the case of
behavioral scales, we highlight the use of a self-reporting scales and the inclusion of a
measure of executive functions of daily life. In the case of neuropsychological measures, a
measure of the sustained attention was used and the measure of Posner’s attentional
network (ANT) was included. The sample was comprised by an ADHD group (n = 10) and
a TD group (n = 22). Parents, teachers and students have filled inattention,
hyperactivity/impulsiveness, opposite desafiant disorder (ODD), sluggish cognitive tempo
(SCT) and executive function of daily life (BDEF-CA) scales. The students have been
evaluated with the Conners’ CPT-3 and theAttention Network Task (ANT). The results
show that parents and teachers reported that the ADHD group have higher scores in core
symptoms of ADHD, and SCT and BDEF scores than TD group. Self-reporting scales
indicate a similar trend. In neuropsychological measures, ADHD group show higher
variability of reaction time of CPT-3 and higher problems in orientation network,
associated with a moderate size effect. Finally, we find a relationship between the
orientation network and one measure of variability of reaction time. The results are
discussed in terms of the conditions and limitations of the study, although it is highlighted
that some neuropsychological measures may be important for ADHD assessment.
