dc.description.abstract	[eng] In this paper we show that probabilistic $\varphi$-contractions in the sense of J.X. Fang (see \cite{onfi}) coincide with the class of probabilistic $\varphi$-contractions in the sense of J. Jachymski (see \cite{onprob}).
