Programa d'Emancipació del GREC. Transició a la vida adulta des del Sistema de Protecció de Menors

Abstract

[cat] L'emancipació és defineix com un procés encaminat a assumir responsabilitats, a on el jove surt de la llar familiar, té una feina estable amb la qual pot assegurar una independència econòmica, accedir a un habitatge i crear el seu propi nucli de convivència. És aquesta la realitat que viuen els joves d'avui en dia? És la mateixa per a tots els joves, o hi ha diferències amb els joves que compleixen la majoria d'edat en el sistema de protecció de menors? Fer-se gran no sempre és sinònim de llibertat i d'autonomia, fer-ho sense un suport familiar i amb uns ingressos insuficients entre altres, poden condicionar el futur de la persona. L’objecte d’aquest treball és analitzar quines són les dificultats i particularitats de complir la majoria d'edat en el sistema de protecció; conèixer quina és la xarxa de recursos i serveis que aporta la comunitat de les Illes Balears en el procés d'Emancipació d'aquests joves i definir el perfil d'usuaris del programa d'emancipació del Grec. Per finalitzar amb una reflexió dels reptes i dificultats que han de fer front durant aquesta transició a la vida adulta.

[spa] Emancipation is defined as a process aimed at assuming responsibilities, where the young man leaves his family home, he has a stable job with which he can ensure economic independence, access a home and create his own core of coexistence. Is this the reality that young people live today? Is it the same for all young people, or are there differences with young people who are of legal age in the child protection system? Becoming older is not always synonymous with freedom and autonomy, doing it without family support and with insufficient income among others, can condition the future of the person. The object of this work is to analyze the difficulties and particularities of fulfilling the majority of age in the protection system; Find out about the network of resources and services provided by the community of the Balearic Islands in the process of Emancipation of these young people and define the profile of users of the emancipation program of the Grec. To finish with a reflection of the challenges and difficulties that they have to face during this transition to adulthood
