dc.description.abstract [eng] Technology has changed the world and, as a consequence, education. It is time for teachers to renovate their methodologies and resources and to adapt to the necessities that society requires nowadays. Thanks to Internet, which connects people around the world, students have created their own learning spaces, and English is one of the subjects that could take advantage of them. Thanks to new tools that have appeared through new technologies, students can work in an autodidactic way, and teachers can take advantage of this by using the methodology of blended learning. This dissertation offers a review of recent developments in the field. It has provided a relevant research on the topic, an interesting methodology to work with and it has given inspiration to make a didactic proposal for primary school children. ca
dc.description.abstract [spa] La tecnología ha cambiado el mundo y, por lo tanto, la educación. Es hora de que los profesores renueven sus metodologías y recursos y se adapten a las necesidades que pide hoy en día el mundo. Gracias a internet, que conecta a la gente de cualquier parte del mundo, los alumnos han creado sus propios espacios de aprendizaje, y el inglés es una de las asignaturas que se puede beneficiar de ellos. Gracias a las nuevas facilidades que han surgido con la tecnología los alumnos pueden estudiar de forma autodidacta, y los profesores pueden aprovechar esto usando la metodología del aprendizaje combinado o, como lo llaman en inglés, blended learning. ca
