Estudi de cas a partir de la intervenció amb pictogrames en un infant amb Síndrome de Landau- Kleffner

Abstract

[cat] El present estudi cerca mostrar el procés duit a terme amb un infant de 12 anys escolaritzat a un centre ordinari d’un poble del sud de l’illa de Mallorca diagnosticat amb la síndrome de Landau- Kleffner amb el qual s’ha treballat durant 7 sessions individuals a partir de pictogrames. L’objectiu que ha cercat aquest estudi ha estat aconseguir una millora en la seva comunicació espontània però sobretot s’ha cercat que l’infant millori la vessant lèxica del llenguatge. Per poder avaluar la millora s’ha comprovat el nivell de desenvolupament lingüístic de l’infant abans i després de la intervenció per mitjà de l’administració del test PPVT-III peabody: Test de vocabulario en imágenes (Dunn, Dunn i Arribas, 2010). A partir de la posterior comparació de resultats s’ha pogut comprovar que les persones diagnosticades amb SLK poden millorar el seu vocabulari si es treballa a partir de suport visual com són els pictogrames utilitzats al llarg d’aquest estudi

[eng] The present study seeks to show the process carried out with a 12-year-old child in an ordinary center of a village in the south of the island of Mallorca diagnosed with the syndrome of Landau- Kleffner with which I have worked for 7 individual sessions based on pictograms. The aim of this study has been to achieve an improvement in spontaneous communication, but above all it has sought to improve the lexical language of the child. In order to evaluate the improvement, the level of linguistic development of the child before and after the intervention was verified through the administration of the “PPVT-III peabody: Test de vocabulario en imágenes” (Dunn, Dunn and Arribas, 2010 ). From the later comparison of results, it has been found that people diagnosed with SLK can improve their vocabulary if they are working from visual support, such as the pictograms used throughout this study.
