[cat] El següent treball estudia què és un problema matemàtic arribant a una possible definició a partir de premisses donades per diferents autors. Es dona molta importància a la diferenciació del concepte problema matemàtic i exercici amb enunciat, mostrant els beneficis per formar infants reflexius, crítics i amb capacitat de raonament. A més, es considera imprescindible la motivació de l’alumnat per poder assolir un aprenentatge significatiu i de qualitat. També, es presenta un recull de problemes d’investigació duts a la pràctica a una escola de primària

[eng] The following research studies what an actual mathematical problem is, relying on definitions given by different authors. It is important to clarify the differencebetween the concept of mathematical problem and an exercise with its formulation, showing the benefits of educating children in order to develop their reflective, critical and reasoning capacity. In addition, the motivation of the students is essential to foster quality and significant learning. Moreover, a collection of research problems which have been put into practice in a primary school is presented.
