[eng] Sedentary lifestyle and physical inactivity are current problems that are increasingly growing in our society. Lack of physical activity (PA) prevents children from getting psychological, social and physical benefits which affects children’s health and performance. After obtaining empirical evidence, an action model is presented to analyze and improve the PA practice that Primary Education children realize inside and outside of their educational context. Physically active methodologies are incorporated to the teaching-learning process, without needing to increment teaching load and schedule through the transversal character of the physical education, the educational interdisciplinary and the cooperation of all the members of the educational community to motivate students for learning. In short, with this proposal it is intended schools to promote the PA practice of children with the possibility of creating a physically active inclusive school model in the future which pursues a comprehensive teaching based on a curriculum and transversal teaching that includes PA practice, making the school a starting point for creating a physically active society and for improving the health of all people living together in society besides students motivation about learning |
