Creació del Conte All together! com a Recurs Didàctic per a l’Ensenyament-Aprenentatge de la Llengua Anglesa a Educació Primària

Abstract

[cat] L’objectiu d’aquest projecte és crear una unitat didàctica per a l’ensenyament-aprenentatge de la llengua anglesa a l’educació primària mitjançant la literatura. Amb aquesta finalitat s’ha creat un conte, fet per l’autora d’aquest projecte, titulat All together!. El projecte també persegueix un altre objectiu: trobar l’opinió de l’ús de la literatura a l’educació primària a les Illes Balears. El conte creat explica l’aventura d’una nena que vol salvar la casa dels animals. Aquest conte té un vocabulari simple i quotidià, una nena com a protagonista principal, les excavadores com a problema i conté buits d’informació per fer als lectors emprar la seva imaginació. D’altra banda, la unitat didàctica dissenyada, empra el conte All together! com a inici de la seqüència d’activitats preparades per ensenyar i aprendre diferents aspectes morals i lingüístics com per exemple, vocabulari sobre animals i espai natural de Mallorca i la millora de les quatre habilitats. A més a més, la unitat didàctica ofereix als alumnes endinsar-se al món de la imaginació i creativitat a través d’una història, que potencia el treball en equip i dona importància a la cura dels animals, i de diferents activitats dividides en tres moments: pre-reading, while-reading i post-reading. Les activitats pre-reading presenten el conte als alumnes sense llegir-lo, potenciant la producció de la llengua anglesa a través de la conversa. Durant les activitats while-reading, els alumnes treballen la comprensió de la llengua anglesa a partir de la lectura del conte i també la producció mitjançant la creació d’un final alternatiu pel conte emprant la seva imaginació i creativitat. A les activitats post-reading els alumnes adquireixen vocabulari en anglès sobre animals i espai natural, i treballen les quatre habilitats (donant molta importància a les habilitats de comprensió) mitjançant activitats relacionades amb els ecosistemes mixtes de Mallorca, com per exemple una gimcana a l’embassament de Cúber que pot motivar als estudiants. Finalment i per acabar el projecte, una participant de l’escola Son Basca dona la seva opinió sobre l’ús dels contes a l’escola primària donant suport des de la seva experiència al fet que els contes ajuden als nins i nines a aprendre la llengua anglesa per la familiaritat d’aquests.

[eng] The aim of this project is to create a teaching unit to teach and learn English in Primary School throw literature. To that end, a tale has been created, by the author of this project, which is entitle All together!. The project also has another aim: find out the opinion and the use of literature in primary education in Balearic Islands. The tale created explains an adventure of a little girl that wants to save animals’ home. It has simple and daily vocabulary, a girl as the main character, the excavators as the problem of the story and it has missing information to the readers to use their imagination. On the other hand, the teaching unit designed uses the tale All together! as the beginning of a sequence of activities prepared to teach and learn different linguistic and emotional aspects as for example, vocabulary about animals and nature from Mallorca, and the improvement of the productive and receptive skills. Furthermore, the teaching unit offers the pupils a world of imagination and creativity throw a story, that gives a lot of importance to team work and the care of animals, and different activities divided in three different moments: pre-reading, while-reading and post-reading activities. The pre-reading activities are based on presenting the tale to the pupils without reading the story and developing the comprehension of the English language. During the while-reading activities, the pupils develop the comprehension of the English language by the storytelling and, also the production skill creating a different ending for the story using their imagination and creativity. In the post-reading activities, the pupils learn vocabulary about animals and nature of Mallorca and improve the four skills (giving a lot of importance to comprehension skills) doing activities related to the mixed ecosystems that exist in Mallorca as for example, a gymkhana in Cúber water reservoir, that might engage students. Finally, and to conclude the project, a participant from CEIP Son Basca provides her opinion about the use of the tales in primary school supporting from her experience that tales help children to learn the English language because of their familiar role.
