L’alumnat d’ètnia gitana a l’aula de primària. Una resposta didàctica a la marginalitat mitjançant l’estudi de la història del poble gitano

[cat] El poble gitano va arribar a la Península Ibèrica fa més de cinc segles. Després d’un curt període de pau, en què conviviren amb la resta de la societat en condició de pelegrins, s’inicià tot un seguit de disposicions legals antigitanes que, juntament amb altres factors socioculturals, acabà per reduir tot un grup humà a l'estereotip i a la marginació. Amb el present treball, es pretén fer un recorregut històric del poble gitano des dels seus orígens fins a l’actualitat, tot analitzant quins trets de la seva cultura perduren fins avui. Finalment, com a mestra d’Educació Primària, es farà una valoració de la situació actual de l’alumnat d’ètnia gitana a les Illes Balears per al disseny d’una proposta didàctica que pugui respondre a les seves necessitats educatives.

[eng] The gypsy people arrived to the Iberian Peninsula more than five centuries ago. After a short period of peace, in which they lived together with the rest of the society as pilgrims, legal measures against them were started. These measures, together with other social and cultural factors, reduced an entire human group to stereotype and marginalization. This work presents the historical journey of the gypsy population, from its origins to the present day, and analyse the lost of some of their cultural features. Finally, as a primary education teacher, an assessment of the current situation of gypsy students from the Balearic Island will be made by designing a teaching proposal that can respond to their education needs.
