La història de vida d’un infant amb Trastorn Específic del Llenguatge

Abstract

[cat] En Carlos és un jove de 19 anys que forma part d’un nucli familiar estable. Presenta un trastorn específic del llenguatge (TEL) a nivell expressiu i comprensiu, que afecta principalment els components semàntics i pragmàtics. Es tracta d’una discapacitat invisible que va des de la infantesa fins l’edat adulta, la qual roman en el transcurs de la vida de l’infant i millora segons la qualitat-quantitat de l’estimulació rebuda. Es pretén mostrar la vivència d’un infant amb TEL perquè es conegui el procés i la necessitat de conviure amb la diferència, fent saber que la discapacitat forma part de la societat. L’anàlisi de l’estudi s’ha dut a terme a través de la recopilació d’informes metges, dels mestres i especialistes d’en Carlos proporcionats per la família i d’entrevistes personals a alguns familiars del protagonista de l’estudi. A més, s’ha realitzat una entrevista a en Carlos i subproves del llenguatge del CELF-IV per valorar el seu llenguatge actual. Durant l’estudi s’ha pogut comprovar la necessitat d’una estimulació primerenca per la favorable evolució del llenguatge, de la conducta i de l’adquisició d’habilitats socials per a la seva integració a la vida social i laboral. El treball conjunt i col·laboratiu per part de les escoles, els especialistes i la família d’en Carlos ha estat un aspecte fonamental a tenir en compte pel creixement de l’infant amb TEL per caminar junts en la mateixa direcció amb un mateix destí.

[eng] Carlos is a 19 year old young man who is part of a stable family nucleus. He presents a specific language disorder (TEL) at an expressive and comprehensive level, which mainly affects the semantic and pragmatic components. It is an invisible disability that goes from childhood to adulthood, which remains throughout the child's life and improves according to the quality-quantity of the stimulation received. The aim is to show the experience of a child with TEL so that the process is understood and the need to live with the disability is made known, making it clear that the disability is part of society. The analysis of the study has been carried out through the recollection of medical reports, Carlos' teachers and medical specialists provided by the family and personal interviews to some of the relatives of the subject of the study. In addition, an interview has been conducted with Carlos and CELF-IV language subtests to evaluate their current language. During the study, the need for early stimulation for the favourable evolution of language, behaviour and the acquisition of social skills to their integration into social and working life. The shared and collaborative work by schools, the specialists and Carlos' family has been a fundamental aspect of take into account the growth of the child with TEL to be able to go together in the same direction with the common goal.
