Papel de la mujer inmigrante magrebí en la sociedad actual. Una aproximación a la situación en Mallorca

[spa] En la presente investigación se ha analizado el papel de la mujer magrebí en su país de origen y una vez realizada la inmigración. El objetivo reside en analizar que estereotipos de género en relación con las mujeres de origen Magrebí residentes en Mallorca siguen vigentes entre la población. A través de la revisión bibliográfica se ha podido constatar como la mujer magrebí es caracterizada bajo la imagen de una mujer analfabeta y sumisa del hombre. También se ha dirigido un cuestionario a la población residente en mallorca para realizar una aproximación de los estereotipos que giran en torno a la mujer inmigrante magrebí. Los resultados muestran que los estereotipos relativos a la indumentaria de la mujer inmigrante magrebí y a su dependencia del género masculino continúan vigentes. La discusión de los resultados muestra la necesidad de actuar a través de la educación intercultural en la sociedad mallorquina para fomentar el diálogo entre las culturas que conviven en el territorio. Se concluye la necesidad de actuar desde el ámbito comunitario para fomentar el encuentro de las distintas culturas. También se valora la importancia de la formación de las mujeres inmigrantes para una inserción laboral que responda a su nivel educativo.

[eng] This work analyses the role of Maghrebi women in their country of origin and after immigration. The aim is to analyse which gender stereotypes in relation to women of Maghrebi origin resident in Mallorca are still in force among the population. Through the bibliographic review it has been possible to verify how the Maghribian woman is characterised as being illiterate and submissive to men. A questionnaire has also been addressed to the resident population in Mallorca to make an approximation of the stereotypes that revolve around the Maghrebian immigrant woman. The results show that stereotypes regarding the clothing of Maghrebi immigrant women and their dependence on the male gender are still in place. The discussion of the results shows the need to act through intercultural education in the Majorcan society to promote the dialogue between the cultures living together in the territory. We conclude that there is a need to act from the community level to promote the meeting of different cultures. The importance of the formation of the female immigrant as a work force, depending on their level of education is also valued.
