Abstract

[spa] Este documento de trabajo aporta una mirada hacia el conocimiento del concepto de ciudad educadora y todo lo que envuelve a este. A partir de una búsqueda bibliográfica se pretende aportar unos conocimientos básicos sobre las ciudades educadoras, las funciones que persiguen, la importancia que acoge n las ciudades educadoras y la importante existencia de la Asociación Internacional de Ciudades Educadoras creada en torno a esta realidad. Se ha llevado a cabo una búsqueda para hallar los proyectos existentes en las Islas Baleares. Después se ha realizad o una selección de proyectos existentes en España, se ha procurado escoger aquellos proyectos vigentes, actuales, creativos e innovadores.

[eng] The present document of work gives us a sight to the proficiency of the concept of educator city and all that is around this. From a bibliographical search we try to contribute to the basic knowledge of the educator cities, their functions, their importance and the im portant existence of the "Asociación Internacional de Ciudades Educadoras" created around this reality. It has been taken a research to find the current projects on the Balearic Islands. Afterwards, a selection of existing projects in Spain has been made, and an attempt has been made to choose those current, existing, creative and innovative projects.
