El Aprendizaje Basado en Problemas aplicado en la estadística

Abstract

[esp] En el trabajo que acontece se estudiará la metodología del Aprendizaje Basado en Problemas (ABP). El trabajo constará de dos partes: la primera parte constituye una justificación teórica del por qué es tan importante el ABP y qué puede aportar a la enseñanza. Se hablará de qué es el ABP y cómo se habría de implantar en el ámbito de las matemáticas. También se comparará con las metodologías tradicionales de la enseñanza que históricamente se han aplicado en matemáticas y se argumentarán las ventajas del ABP aportadas al aprendizaje del alumno. La segunda parte se centra en la aplicación práctica de la metodología en el IES Madina Mayurqa. Finalmente, se extraerán unas conclusiones para establecer si la propuesta es realmente aplicable en un centro de educación secundaria.

[eng] This research approaches the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) methodology and it has been divided into two complementary parts. First, a theoretical background presents the importance of this method and its benefits for the educational system. In this section, the PBL definition and its implementation in mathematics are examined, followed by a comparison between this innovative method and other traditional teaching perspectives used in mathematics throughout the history of education. With this in mind, the first part of the study concludes with a discussion on the advantages that PBL could provide to the student learning process. The second part of this research consists of a practical application of this method in IES Madina Mayurqa. Finally, the overall study leads to the opportunity of concluding the real effectiveness of applying this method in secondary schools.
