Motivacional, doncs, accepta, vincula, escolta i empatitza. L’Entrevista Motivacional procura
[eng] The current work was born with the purpose of demystifying the lie of failed Help
Relationships according to the type of client. Involuntary clients are those who have not
requested that helpful to which they are coerced by legal derivations or third party pressions.
Those users can prematurely put-up resistance, but often prejudices and generalizations are
those that determine the relationship’s loss. So, it is tried to expose that the cause who decides
the success of the process is not the origin of the derivation, neither the «involuntary» label,
otherwise it’s the ability of constructing a therapeutic alliance between the social worker and
the client. That alliance is the base of intervention’s style of the Motivational Interview because
it accepts, links, listens and empathizes. The Motivational Interview tries to help people to
rescue their resources and innate ability through a collaborative conversation, taking them to
the way of the change ambivalence. The social worker only has to escort people’s music and
help when it becomes a need. Finally, the client will weave autonomously and at his tempo the
personal strategy that will guide his changing process.
