dc.description.abstract [eng] We have never spent more time sitting down than now. Adolescents is the demographic group especially affected by this, with more online activities than other groups. Adolescents spend most of their awake time sitting down. This is contra producing for their psychological and physical well-being. I aimed at finding out what current studies say about standing up at school instead of sitting down and if this change would be enough to improve the student´s psychological and physical wellbeing as well as cognitive enhancement. Conclusion: There are not enough longitudinal studies with most of the time in school standing up carried out to reach significant conclusions. Furthermore, to improve not only psychological and physical well-being but also clear cognitive functions, more physical activity has to be carried out at the desk. ca
