La història d'Eivissa, pont per conèixer la Història Universal

[cat] La història és una de les assignatures més importants per poder comprendre el nostre món actual i com hem arribat a aquest punt de civilització i desenvolupament. Com a mestres, tenim el repte de fer aquesta assignatura atractiva i motivadora pels alumnes per tal d’assolir un coneixement bàsic quant al coneixement del seu entorn. És prioritari un canvi en la metodologia de l’ensenyament de l’assignatura d’història per aconseguir aquest objectiu. No s’ha de presentar com una assignatura plena de dades sense significació pels alumnes. Es proposa partir de la història més propera, del nostre entorn insular per tal d’entendre la història universal. Reconeixent el nostre patrimoni, el seu desenvolupament, amb un caràcter emocional, amb una metodologia més motivadora i engrescadora, s'arribarà a donar la consideració que es mereix aquesta assignatura. La història no són simplement dades que es llegeixen en un llibre, són fets que han ocorregut, que formen part del nostre passat i dels quals som hereus.

[eng] History is one of the most important subjects to understand our current world and how we have reached this point of civilization and development. As teachers, we have the challenges in order to understand the universal history. A change in the teaching methodology of the history subject is a priority to achieve this goal. It should not be presented as a subject full of meaningless data for students. It is proposed to star from the nearest history, from our island environment, in order to understand the universal history. Recognizing our heritage, its development, with an emotional character, with a more motivating and encouraging methodology, we will come to give the consideration that this subject deserves. History is not just data that is read in a book, it is facts that have happened, that are part of our past and of which we are heirs.
