La metamorfosi de la Seu com a testimoni de la nostra història

Abstract

[cat] En aquest treball de fi de grau (TFG) es fa una anàlisi dels diferents estils artístics presents a la Seu de Palma, edifici emblemàtic que ha estat testimoni de la història de Mallorca. La història es pot veure reflectida a la catedral a partir de les diferents mostres artístiques que presenta tant al seu exterior com al seu interior, ja que l’edifici ha anat metamorfitzant-se i adaptant-se als canvis consegüents pel pas del temps. En aquest treball s’analitzen els següents estils artístics mitjançant una revisió bibliogràfica: gòtic, renaixement, barroc, neoclassicisme, neogòtic, modernisme i expressionisme. Incloent una contextualització històrica, una investigació sobre les característiques de cada estil artístic i exemples d’obres presents a la Seu. A més, es fa una aplicació didàctica que adapta l’anàlisi dels diferents estils artístics presents a la Seu per tal que els infants puguin accedir i interioritzar aquesta informació mitjançant un vídeo i un llibret informatiu amb activitats de consolidació. L’objectiu del TFG és que la història de l’art deixi de ser una assignatura completament invisible en les escoles d’educació primària. L’art està present a la nostra quotidianitat i és important que els alumnes sàpiguen identificar, entendre i respectar les obres d’art que els envolten dia a dia. A més, a partir d’aquestes mostres artístiques, els alumnes poden comprendre i assimilar de manera significativa la història local.

[eng] In this Final Degree Project, an analysis is made of the different artistic styles present in the Seu de Palma, an emblematic building that has witnessed the history of Mallorca. History can be seen reflected in the cathedral from the different artistic samples that it presents both outside and inside. That is because the building has been metamorphosing and adapting to the changes through the pass of time. In this work the following artistic styles are analyzed through a bibliographic review: Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassicism, Neogothic, Modernism and Expressionism. Including a historical contextualization, an investigation on the characteristics of each artistic style and examples of works present in the Seu. In addition, a didactic application is made that simplifies the analysis of the different artistic styles present in the Seu so that children can access and internalize this information through a video and an informative booklet with consolidation activities. The TFG’s goal is to make history of art no more a completely invisible subject in primary schools. Art is present in our daily lives, and it is essential that students learn to identify, understand, and respect the works of art which are all around them every day. Additionally, pupils will gain a meaningful understanding of local history through these artistic pieces.
