[eng] Autism Spectrum Disorder is a neurological disorder that usually manifests itself
through symptoms related to social interaction and communication and the presence
of restricted and repetitive behaviours. In recent years, we have been able to see
the number of children diagnosed with this disorder gradually increase. For this reason, the educational inclusion of ASD children in regular classrooms has become a
situation to which teachers must respond. This research aims to explore the perceptions of teachers in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education on the process
of inclusion of children affected by ASD. The methodology followed responds to a
qualitative approach, with the semi-structured interview being the data collection
technique used. The results give us a vision of the educational inclusion perceived by teachers as a complex process that is conditioned by various aspects and has an
impact on the teachers themselves, the child with ASD and other students. Through
the statements made by the teachers, it has been possible to conclude, among other
things, the key role played by material and, above all, human resources in this situation.
