[spa] La violencia de género es un fenómeno que afecta el día a día de muchas mujeres, y su prevalencia está en aumento, alcanzando máximos históricos en España. Este trabajo surge como respuesta a la falta de visibilización del colectivo de las mujeres mayores frente a esta situación. Objetivos: En particular, se pretende explorar las consecuencias de la violencia de género en las mujeres mayores planteando dos hipótesis: que las consecuencias que padecen son diferentes a las sufridas por mujeres más jóvenes y que muestran signos de envejecimiento antes que las no víctimas. Metodología: Se realiza una revisión sistemática a través de múltiples bases de datos como Scopus, PubMed y Web of Science, entre otras. Aunque se identifica una falta de literatura especializada, se parte de un total de 996 documentos que se reducen a 16 tras aplicar diversas condiciones de inclusión y exclusión. Resultados y Conclusiones: La revisión revela que la violencia de género tiene un impacto significativo en la salud de las mujeres mayores, ya sea en la salud física o psicológica, y también tiene un impacto en otros aspectos como la mortalidad y la exposición a factores de riesgo del VIH.

[eng] Gender-based violence is a phenomenon that affects the daily lives of many women, and its prevalence is on the rise, reaching its historical high in Spain. This study arises as a response to the lack of visibility of older women in this situation. Objectives: In particular, the aim of this thesis is to explore the consequences of gender-based violence in older women, posing two hypotheses: that the consequences they suffer are not the same asmthose suffered by younger women and that they show signs of ageing sooner than non-victims. Methodology: A systematic review was carried out across multiple databases such as Scopus, PubMed and Web of Science, among others. Although a lack of specialized literature was identified, a total of 996 papers are screened and subsequently reduced to 16 after applying various inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results and Conclusions: The review reveals that gender-based violence has a significant impact on older women's health, either in their physical or psychological health, as well as an impact on other aspects such as mortality and exposure to HIV risk factors. In addition, differentiated consequences are identified in older compared to younger victims, which allows accepting the first hypothesis put forward.
