Atención a la infancia y la adolescencia en situación de riesgo social en un centro abierto. El centro amigos

[spa] Según Cusó (1995) el concepto infancia en riesgo se utiliza para referirse a situaciones que se encuentran algunos niños/adolescentes que están inmersos en condiciones de vida que pueden interferir negativamente en el desarrollo integral del ser humano teniendo en cuenta aspectos psicológicos, emotivos, sociales y afectivos. Según el Departamento de Bienestar Social (DIBA, 2014) los Centros Abiertos son servicios preventivos que ayudan y potencian el desarrollo de aprendizajes, personalidad, socializaciones y vienen a compensar algunos déficits de los usuarios mediante diferentes tipos de intervenciones a niños y adolescentes. El proyecto de investigación que se presenta tiene por objetivo conocer las necesidades de los/as niños/as y adolecentes del centro abierto Centro Amigos de Sant Vicenç dels Horts en relación a sus familias y al rol parental que ejercen estas en el desarrollo integral de sus hijos/as para reforzar capacidades y estrategias educativas desde la intervención social y socioeducativa. La metodología utilizada es cualitativa con entrevistas individuales en profundidad a profesionales que realizan intervención y gestión directa en este servicio concreto. El análisis de los resultados obtenidos ha podido detectar e identificar las necesidades no cubiertas de los niños y adolescentes del Centro Amigos. Se ha comprobado que parte de las familias de niños/as y adolescentes del centro abierto “Centro Amigos” tienen dificultades para ejercer su rol parental en el desarrollo integral de sus hijos/as dentro del núcleo familiar. Durante todo el análisis vemos dificultades relacionadas con los hábitos en general, los límites, gestión de conflictos en casa, roles no bien definidos. Del análisis surgen algunas recomendaciones, entre ellas la posibilidad de crear una escuela de padres para ayudar a las familias en su tarea parental dado que como veremos durante la investigación aparecen problemas a la hora de llevarla a cabo, en muchas ocasiones, por falta de herramientas.
