Presència i usos de la llengua catalana en infants en edat d'educació primària de Son Gotleu en l'actualitat

Abstract

[cat] El treball que aquí s’exposa té per objectiu fer un estudi sobre l’estat en què es troba la llengua catalana a Son Gotleu en contextos infantils. S’aborda principalment des d’un punt de vista sociolingüístic, sense deixar de banda l’estudi que s’ha de fer del barri i de les seves dinàmiques, a més dels factors que influeixen en l’adquisició de llengües addicionals. Un cop fet l’estudi es fa una anàlisi en detall dels resultats obtinguts i dels factors que ja s’exposen al marc teòric que ho justifiquen. Les conclusions principals són que s’han de guanyar àmbits d’ús per tal de dinamitzar la llengua i que els prejudicis, tot i ser inherents a tothom, són percebuts pels infants i fan que perdin la motivació per l’aprenentatge d’aquesta llengua.

[eng] The aim of the work presented here is to study the state of the Catalan language in children’s contexts in Son Gotleu. It is approached mainly from a sociolinguistic point of view, without overlooking the study of the neighborhood and its dynamics, as well as the factors that influence the acquisition of additional languages. Once the study has been carried out, a detailed analysis is made based on the results obtained and the factors that have already been set out in the theoretical framework that justifies it. The main conclusions are that it is necessary to gain areas of use in order to make the language more dynamic and that the prejudices, although inherent to everyone, are perceived by the children and cause them to lose motivation to learn this language.
