La llengua anglesa, com a llengua vehicle global de comunicació, ha experimentat canvis significatius a causa de la influència de la tecnologia. L'expansió d'Internet i l'ús generalitzat de dispositius electrònics han generat un entorn lingüístic mai vist fins ara, en el qual l'anglès s'ha adaptat i evolucionat per a satisfer les necessitats de l'era digital.
