L'àlbum il·lustrat: educació artística i literària a través del dibuix

[cat] El desenvolupament cognitiu i emocional dels infants es pot afavorir mitjançant el dibuix i l'escriptura. La llengua és una eina crucial per a l'aprenentatge i la comunicació, i és essencial en totes les disciplines. El dibuix, a més, no només és art sinó també una manera de pensar visualment, ajudant a organitzar idees i fomentar la creativitat. Aquestes habilitats artístiques i literàries es complementen i faciliten una comprensió més profunda i duradora dels coneixements. Ambdós llenguatges s’interrelacionen a través dels àlbums il·lustrats. Les il·lustracions poden complementar o fins i tot substituir el text en aquest tipus d’obres, on el text i la imatge es combinen per crear una obra artística. Els àlbums il·lustrats poden tenir diverses formes d'interacció entre imatge i text, i la il·lustració juga un paper crucial en la narrativa, desenvolupant la imaginació i la comprensió dels lectors. Històricament, l'àlbum il·lustrat ha evolucionat gràcies a avenços tècnics que van permetre combinar text i imatge. Des del segle XVII, les il·lustracions han estat integrades progressivament en els llibres infantils per educar i entretenir. Així i tot, no és fins al segle XX que s'il·lustren llibres infantils a Espanya, concretament, els anys setanta van ser crucials per al desenvolupament de la il·lustració infantil, amb canvis socials i culturals significatius. A més a més, apareixen il·lustradores reivindicatives de la llengua i cultura pròpia que seran reconegudes internacionalment i amb una gran influència, com Carme Solé i Aina Bonner, de qui s’aconsegueixen dades empíriques de primera mà. És per aquest motiu que s’exposa una possible proposta per dur a terme a educació primària amb l’objectiu de donar a conèixer una artista mallorquina que ha tengut i té rellevància en el nostre context com a il·lustradora de llibres per aprendre a llegir.

[eng] Children's cognitive and emotional development can be fostered through drawing and writing. Language is a crucial tool for learning and communication, and is essential in all disciplines. Drawing, moreover, is not only art but also a way of thinking visually, helping to organise ideas and foster creativity. These artistic and literary skills complement each other and facilitate a deeper and more lasting understanding of knowledge. Both languages are interrelated through picture books. Illustrations can complement or even replace the text in this type of work, where text and image combine to create an artistic work. Picture books can have different forms of interaction between image and text, and illustration plays a crucial role in the narrative, developing the imagination and comprehension of readers. Historically, the picture book has evolved thanks to technical advances that made it possible to combine text and image. Since the 17th century, illustrations have been progressively integrated into children's books to educate and entertain. However, it was not until the 20th century that children's books were illustrated in Spain, specifically, the 1970s were crucial for the development of children's illustration, with significant social and cultural changes. In addition, internationally recognised and highly influential illustrators of our own language and culture, such as Carme Solé and Aina Bonner, have appeared, and we have first-hand empirical information of Bonner. It is for this reason that we present a possible proposal to be carried out in primary education with the aim of raising awareness of a Mallorcan artist who has had and still has relevance in our context as an illustrator of books for learning to read.
